The International Journal of Recent Innovations (IJRI) is committed to maintaining the accuracy, reliability, transparency, and integrity of the scholarly record. When an error, omission, ethical concern, or research-integrity issue is identified in a published article, the journal will investigate the matter and take appropriate action.

Depending on the seriousness of the issue, IJRI may publish a correction, erratum, corrigendum, expression of concern, retraction, withdrawal notice, or content-removal notice. Corrective actions are taken to protect readers and preserve the accuracy of the publication record.

Reporting Errors or Concerns

Reports to the Editorial Office must include the article title, author name(s), publication details, a clear description of the concern, and supporting evidence where available.

*Anonymous concerns may be considered where sufficient and verifiable evidence is provided.

Editorial Assessment Protocol

Upon receipt, the Editorial Office screens the nature of the issue, its impact on final conclusions, and whether it represents an honest error or potential misconduct.

Authors will normally be given an explicit opportunity to respond before a formal final decision is reached.

Correction Typologies & Routes

IJRI classifies amendments into distinct pathways depending on origin and scientific scale:

Minor Corrections Errors that do not affect the scientific validity, interpretation, or reliability of the study:

• Typographical errors & formatting slips.
• Incorrect contact details or minor affiliation faults.
• Updates are deployed directly into the online text view.

Major Corrections Errors affecting significant segments without invalidating the entire paper:

• Faulty data points within tables or illustrations.
• Partial analytical tracking or description errors.
• Resolved via a formal linked public correction note.

Erratum Notices Amending accidental mistakes introduced strictly by the journal team:

• Production-related copyediting or layout deformities.
• Typesetting omissions or accidental text dropping.
• Formally flagged as a journal-side operational error.

Corrigendum Tracks Unintentional errors originating directly from the author side:

• Core findings and conclusions must remain reliable.
• Authors may need to supply backup verification sheets.
• Formally appended to correct the active metadata track.

Authorship Corrections

Requests to add, remove, or rearrange authors post-publication face rigorous review and must supply:

• Comprehensive written justification and corresponding author confirmation.
• Written, explicit signed consent from every single co-author involved.
• Unresolved authorship disputes will be routed to the home institution.

Expression of Concern Framework

Published when serious structural questions emerge but active proof remains incomplete:

• Active, complex ongoing institutional integrity evaluations.
• Inconclusive evidence tracks or lack of response from authors.
• Notice stays appended until definitive action is enabled.

Standard Retraction Dimensions

Articles will be formally retracted if their findings become completely unreliable or if a serious breach of publication ethics occurs. Prohibited boundaries include:

• Core Scientific Fraud Data fabrication, deliberate falsification, plagiarism, or severe image manipulation.

• Operational Misconduct Duplicate/redundant publishing, peer-review manipulation, or fraudulent authorship.

• Severe Ethical Breaches Lack of human/animal approval protocols or severe violations of privacy/consent.

Retraction is aimed purely at correcting the scholarly record and notifying the global academic community that the text should not be relied upon.

Retraction Investigation Procedure

IJRI rigorously reviews allegations, contacts authors for verification, and consults subject experts or institutional boards. The journal preserves full authority to execute a retraction without the authors' agreement if verified evidence unequivocally demands action.

Retraction Notice Mechanics

Partial Retractions & Pre-Publication Withdrawals

Pre-Publication Withdrawal: Formally requested by authors before publication via signed collective consent. The journal may drop articles early due to simultaneous submissions, plagiarism loops, or complete lack of response.

Complete Removal of Published Content Restrictions

Published materials will not be deleted from the site. Complete content removal is strictly limited to direct court orders, legal mandates, severe hazards to personal safety, or major confidentiality breaches. If executed, a public notice detailing the general rationale will replace the deleted file.

Misconduct Audits IJRI coordinates with ethics committees, institutional bodies, or integrity officers. The journal can take independent editorial actions if proof points to systemic infractions.

Investigation Confidentiality Details are isolated within authorized evaluation channels. Complainant tracking vectors are protected unless legal steps necessitate disclosure.

Formal Appeals Tracking Authors can appeal by supplying new empirical datasets or proving significant procedural faults. Decisions by the Editor-in-Chief remain final.
