Author Guidelines & Submission Policy
The International Journal of Recent Innovations (IJRI) welcomes original, high-quality, and previously unpublished scholarly manuscripts that contribute to the advancement of science, technology, engineering, innovation, interdisciplinary research, and applied studies. Authors should carefully review these guidelines before submission to ensure that their manuscripts meet the journal’s academic, ethical, technical, and publication requirements.
Accepted Manuscript Types
IJRI accepts the following categories of manuscripts (authors should select the manuscript type that most accurately reflects the nature, methodology, and scholarly contribution of their work):
Recommended Manuscript Structure
Manuscripts should be written in clear, accurate, and professional English. Depending on the article type and research design, manuscripts should normally include:
Note: Alternative structures may be accepted for review articles, systematic reviews, theoretical/conceptual papers, case studies, and other manuscript types where academically appropriate.
Title Page & Author Metadata
To support accurate publication and indexing metadata, authors must provide a separate title page containing:
- • Full and accurate title of the manuscript.
- • Full names of all authors, and their departmental and institutional affiliations.
- • City, state/province (where applicable), and country of each affiliated institution.
- • ORCID iD of each author (where available).
- • Clearly identified corresponding author & valid email address.
- • Appropriate manuscript/article type.
Because IJRI operates a double-blind peer-review process, identifying information should be provided on the separate title page and must not appear in the anonymized manuscript.
Manuscript Submission Format
Manuscripts should be submitted in Microsoft Word (.doc or .docx) format. Authors must provide a separate title page containing identifying author information and an anonymized manuscript for double-blind peer review. The anonymized manuscript should not contain author names, affiliations, acknowledgements, or other information that may reveal author identity.
Abstract, Keywords & Visual Materials
Abstract & Keywords: The abstract should provide a concise summary detailing the research objective, methodology, principal findings, and main conclusions. Authors must provide 4 to 6 relevant keywords that accurately represent the subject matter, improve discoverability, and avoid unnecessary repetition of terms already appearing in the title.
Tables, Figures & Visual Materials: All visual elements must be clear, accurate, and of high resolution. They must be numbered sequentially, cited in the main text in appropriate order, include a clear caption, present data consistently with units/legends/abbreviations, and be paired with necessary third-party copyright permissions where required.
Authorship Requirements
Authorship is strictly limited to individuals with substantial scholarly contributions (conception, design, data acquisition/interpretation, drafting, or critical revision). All authors must approve the final version, agree to publication, accept appropriate accountability for the work, disclose relevant conflicts of interest, and provide accurate authorship and affiliation information. ORCID iDs should be provided where available.
* Gift, guest, ghost, purchased, or unauthorized authorship changes are strictly prohibited.
Generative Artificial Intelligence
Authors remain fully responsible for accuracy, originality, and integrity. Generative AI tools cannot be listed as authors or co-authors.
If AI tools materially contributed to preparation, analysis, or presentation, their use must be transparently disclosed in line with journal policy. AI-assisted editing/formatting does not transfer author accountability.
Author Contributions
Authors should clearly describe their individual contributions to the research and preparation of the manuscript. Where appropriate, contribution roles may be reported using the CRediT (Contributor Roles Taxonomy). All listed authors must approve the final manuscript and accept accountability for their respective contributions.
Research Ethics & Integrity
Studies involving human participants, identifiable human data, or animals must state the approving ethics committee name, approval/reference number, and informed consent details (or state non-applicability). All manuscripts undergo similarity screening; decisions are based on contextual overlap significance rather than raw percentage numbers.
Plagiarism, fabrication, falsification, image manipulation, duplicate submission, redundant publication, and citation manipulation are strictly prohibited.
Ethical Declarations & Statements
Conflict of Interest: Disclose any financial, personal, or institutional ties. If none exist, authors must state:
"The authors declare no conflict of interest."
Funding Statement: Disclose all financial support sources and grant numbers. If unfunded, state:
"This research received no external funding."
Data Availability Statement: Explain how supporting data can be accessed (e.g., repository names/DOIs, included in article, available upon request, or restricted due to legal/ethical reasons).
Peer Review Process
IJRI follows a double-blind peer-review process. After initial editorial screening, qualified independent reviewers evaluate manuscripts based on originality, scope relevance, methodological rigor, validity of findings, presentation clarity, and ethical integrity.
Open Access & Copyright
Published under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License (CC BY 4.0). Readers can freely access, share, and adapt content with proper attribution. Authors retain copyright ownership of their published work.
Proofs and Final Publication
Following acceptance, the manuscript may undergo editorial formatting, copyediting, and proofreading. The corresponding author is responsible for reviewing the proof carefully and returning necessary corrections within the timeframe specified by the journal. Changes at the proof stage should normally be limited to correction of production or factual errors.
References & Citation Accuracy
Authors are responsible for the accuracy, completeness, and relevance of all references. Manuscripts must follow the IEEE reference style. References should correspond accurately with citations in the main text, prioritize relevant primary scholarly literature where appropriate, and include DOI information whenever available. Excessive, irrelevant, misleading, or manipulated citations and inappropriate self-citation are not permitted.
Submission Declaration & Publication Ethics
By submitting a manuscript to IJRI, the corresponding author confirms that the work is original, has not been published previously, is not under simultaneous consideration by another journal, has been approved by all listed authors, and complies with applicable ethical, authorship, copyright, and conflict-of-interest requirements.
IJRI follows recognized principles of responsible scholarly publishing and considers applicable guidance issued by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) in addressing publication-ethics matters.
